“Landscape Study”- Original painting by MJ Seal. Gouache on Stonehenge paper, 14” x 11”. C. 2022. I finally had a chance to play around with the new gouache paints I got months ago before we left for France and decided I would paint this scene from memory. It’s actually the view across the parking lot I see every day when I’m walking down the stairs. In early November the Norway maples really glow. I haven’t painted with gouache since my intro classes at college and I’m definitely liking them much more this time around 😊
