An unwholesome nocturne-

The halfway point-

This developed a very Boschian atmosphere

After the white and umber under painting dried I carefully applied the luminous glazes of color- the results where rather otherworldly

The colors literally glow like jewels. I applied them in thin glazes over the bright under painting so the light passes through them as it’s reflected off the surface- similar to how medieval masters like Jan Van Eyck created their masterpieces.
A strange flock
This piece definitely has some undertones
Roots seemed to grown from this humanoid form
