It’s hard to tell in these reproductions but the yellowish areas are actually iridescent gold so it has this interesting sparkling effect.

The colours are so calming. I could stare at this for hours and still not see everything. I swear there is a dragon in there peeking out!!

Oui- I tried to be soft with the lines and use delicate shading. I used Indian red, quinacridone violet and iridescent gold watercolors for the base layer- it turned out to be a very soothing color scheme!
