In this detail of Luciferin harvest, an original painting by emerging artist MJ Seal, a branch sprouts out from the top of a dark velvety green forest. The cluster of leaves at the end of the branch vaguely resembles the eyes of an owl.
In this moody, surreal nocturne by emerging artist MJ Seal a dark, velvety green forest morphs into a curtain being pulled up by monstrous hands revealing a pourous, chartreuse green wall from which glowing yellow liquid drips like honey as thousands of fireflies buzz about.

If you look closely you can see the hundreds of fluorescent yellow dots I laid down like swarms of fireflies.
