Three Weeks in Scotland

Lots of ancestral portraits hanging on castle walls -and we saw lots of castles. Lots of ruffs- lots of tartan cloth.
There was such a mix of ancient, merely old and extremely new
We spent approximately 4 days in airports or in the air
The countryside was such a patchwork quilt-
Full of ancient ruins and dark lochs- I have several project ideas fermenting in the back of my mind now.

Note: These are mostly sketched from memory- I was to busy taking photos of everything to pick up a pencil.
