A cluster of peculiar flowers blooming out of a cloud of pinks and yellows-
“Blotograph 011820- Fleur de L’aube”- Original painting/drawing by MJ Seal. Watercolor and graphite pencil on Stonehenge paper. 8″ x 8″. C. 2020
The starting point in hues of dawn-
Yellow and pink, gurning flowers, becoming grotesque. Makes me think ‘Ugly beautiful’.

Thanks- yeah it seems all fluffy and pink and flowery at first glance- but there r definitely some unwholesome looking – protuberances- developing.

These are my favourite colours. This piece is so stunning!! I also feel like there’s an elephant hiding in there if I just look hard enough. xD

Merci et oui- I’m sure there is a whole menagerie in there- the final piece is just one of -really – an infinite range of forms the random shapes in the starting point could have become.
