Inspirations- Jour de neige

I took a few breaks from a busy day of sculpting to enjoy the first snow day of the season- and to shovel lots of snow πŸ™‚

It was just cold enough for everything that fell to stick. The snow was just wet enough to really hold onto the branches – creating some beautiful high contrast scenes-

Miss Tilly this ones for you-

I took a little walk down the street around sunset-

I love the atmospheric qualities of a snowy landscape in the low light of dusk- it brings to mind Pieter Bruegel the Elder’s “The Return of the Hunters”.

Stay inspired!
