A colony of sea forms/Une colonie de formes marines-
“Blotograph 121519″- original painting/drawing by MJ Seal. Watercolor and graphite pencil on Stonehenge paper. 10″ x 8”. C. 2019

The starting point (upside down from the final drawing)-
Fascinating coral!

Thanks! This cluster of sea forms looks like it’s rising from the abyss – the watercolor was laid on pretty thickly.

Dankeschon! Yeah I’m happy with how the last few doodles are more suggestive of forms than overtly detailed. It gives the viewer more freedom to interpret.
